A Vision For East Point

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Prov. 29:18). God has always delighted in His people having a clear and glorious vision of Him. This vision is based in a clear and true understanding of His word. At East Point Church we believe that a biblical vision of our great God and of our beloved Savior Jesus Christ must inform all that we seek to do and to be. Our life is established in such a vision. Our hope is founded upon such a vision. Our peace and comfort is realized in such a vision. This vision is our voice, our prayer, and our song.

We seek the glory of God in all things, and the good of His people by it. We see no contradiction in this. We remain convinced of that which glorifies God is good for His people. And those things which are truly good for God’s people, bring Him the utmost glory. God’s greatest glory is shone in in the person and work of Jesus Christ on behalf of his people. And thus, Jesus Christ is also our greatest good.

East Point Church desires to be a people who shine with the light of the glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ (2Cor. 4:6). So come and catch the vision that is Christ. Come and catch the vision that is the Gospel. Come and sing with us. Come and pray with us. Come and dream with us.

Be thou our vision O Lord of our heart;
Naught be all else to us save that thou art.
Thou our best thought by day or by night;
Waking or sleeping, thy presence our light.

Verse of the Day
