As a church planter I spend much of my time being surprised and out-manuevered by God.  It seems that while God is faithful in hearing the pleas of my heart, he is also faithful in doing what he wants, when he wants, how he wants, where he wants.  I just can’t seem to figure this God guy out.  It seems when I desire him to move slow, he moves fast.  When I desire him to move fast, he moves slow.  Thus, I spend most of my time adjusting to his movements.  (Ever been there?)  Yet, even in the midst of my ever-changing church planting world, I thank my God for graciously always giving me time to adjust.  Amazing grace! 

My prayer today is that He never stops surprising me and that I will continue to rejoice in being out-manuevered by Him.
